Hello all,
I am taking an Old Testament class and want to record the content of the lecture, so that I can refer back to it later. I have a Plextalk Pocket but I think the professor would have to wear it, in order for the recording to come out great. My question is how do I record a lecture and what device should I use? I guess it could be a computer program, too.
Thanks for any advice in advance.
If you have one, I'd say the victor reader stream has some great recording quality. The BrailleNote works well too, but the recordings will take up space in your flash drive, so if you wanted to use that I'd recommend getting a USB drive with a lot of space to put them on.
Hello,
Unfortunately, my streambroke,, and I got a PlexTalk pocket to replace it. If I am using a BrailleNote, do you think that the microphone which is built in can pick up what the professor says, even if he or she moves around a lot.
Thanks,
Nathan.
Yes, it can. However, depending on how you have it set in the recording options will determine how clearly it comes out.
i use my i phone with the built in voice memos app. the recording quality is really good with the built in mike.
I thought the Plextalk Pockets also have this recordability. You would not have to clip it on the professor either, from what I read, or saw on their FSCast a while back.
In fact, unless I am mistaken, you can turn it into DAISY with the section headings and that. If you search around through the FSCast Archives you'll find a couple of podcasts where they go over the whole thing, it seems. I do not yet have one of these, nor am I in the market for lectures recording, but it sure seemed like they went over things quite a bit. If I buy one of these gadgets I will again look those up because although officially they will not call them training materials, they might as well.
Okay, thank you.
